Infants

The Grace Kidz World nursery is an exciting, special place, serving as an extension of your home where babies receive unconditional love and care. A place where each child feels safe and parents feel comfortable leaving their most precious gift. Our nursery is designed especially for infants, with the perfect balance of calm, soothing elements and developmental stimulants for their ever-evolving world. Babies grow and develop faster in their first year than any other year of life. Therefore, our caregivers are committed to providing the very best tender, nurturing care and stimulation.

We encourage babies to explore everything around them from toys and other babies to their teachers and the outdoors. We also believe that cuddling, smiling, laughing, hugging, singing and reading to babies is just as important as changing diapers and keeping them fed. Parents will receive a daily report on their infant, detailing the child’s daily activities as well as diaper-changing and feeding schedules. Young Children

Young children thrive best in a dynamic, energetic environment because their nature at this stage in life is to explore, ask questions discover and experiment. Your child’s day will be filled with learning and play activities, directed by our professional staff. Our activities and curriculum are designed to match children’s respective levels of development while fostering intellectual, social and physical growth.

We utilize A Beka curriculum, a nationally renowned Christian program of study built upon the foundation of Scripture. The goal of A Beka curriculum is to keep learning lively, interesting and memorable for all ages through God-honoring, high-quality textbooks and teaching materials. Your children will engage in many age-appropriate activities and lessons:

- 2-Year-olds: Language Development, Listening Skills, Numbers, Bible;  3-Year-olds: Language Development, Listening Skills, Numbers, Bible; 4-Year-olds: Language Development, Listening Skills, Phonics & Reading, Numbers, Bible

In addition to A Beka curriculum, we also use the Bible Train and Chapel to support spiritual development. The Bible Train visits each room in the nursery area, and stories are shared using drama, music, videos and other media. Older children participate in daily Chapel during which drama, puppets, music and much more allow them to express their faith and experience the Glory of God’s love for them. Prayer also is incorporated into daily activities and learning experiences.

We recognize that young children are active learners. Our “circle time” with teachers and our specialized learning centers are an important part of the educational landscape. With learning centers, children are able to choose the centers in which they would like to work. Allowing them to select their individual learning area(s) gives them an opportunity to make decisions and work in areas that stimulate and interest them. Our centers include:

After-School Program

The after-school program at Kidz World Academy is for children kindergarten through fifth grade. We offer a quiet place for school-aged children to complete homework and/or study, as well as an energetic atmosphere to express their unique personalities through music, drama, art and other activities. We also provide transportation to and from local public schools. Currently we transport to Clear Lake Christian School, North Pointe Elementary, Frasier Elementary, Weber Elementary, Atkinson Elementary, and Burnett Elementary We have a spectacular summer program for school children, which includes special activities and events, art projects, interactive games, field trips, water days and much more!

We are excited about our new game room. A special space for our school-age children to have fun and fellowship with friends after school.

Tours of Kidz World Academy are given daily 9AM - 5PM. A member of the Kidz World staff will escort parents through our classrooms, learning centers, child library, and hair salon and upcoming game room for our after school program.
